Beekeeper of the Year

     Each year, a member of the Missouri State Beekeepers Association is chosen to be the "MSBA Beekeeper of the Year".  This is a member that makes outstanding contributions to beekeeping or to the Missouri State Beekeepers Association.  Congratulations to all those who have been honored with this award.

2006 Beekeeper of the Year

     Eugene's hard work and dedication to the quarterly MSBA Newsletter earned him this award.  The MSBA newsletter is a wonderful source of information to the members of the association.  Eugene works hard to produce a quality newsletter that is an asset to the beekeepers of Missouri. 

Dean Sanders

2007 Beekeeper of the Year

     Dean Sanders, Missouri State Fair Manager, was chosen as Beekeeper of the Year because of his hard work and dedication to the MSBA booth at the Missouri State Fair held in Sedalia each year.  Dean was promoted to the position of manager after the passing of Don Reinkemeyer, the previous booth manager. He has done an outstanding job with the fair, and has filled some long and challenging hours at the fair.  Dean strives to see that the MSBA booth at the Missouri State Fair is a success.
